Review: Late Bloomer
Late Bloomer by Mazey Eddings
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I wasn't sure what to expect from Late Bloomer, and like many books, I went in completely blind. Opal is chaotic and eccentric and a lot of fun on the page. There were a few times early on where I was cringing with some of her impulsive decisions and actions. Then we are introduced to Pepper, who is her polar opposite, the grumpy to Opal's sunshine, she is running a struggling flower farm. These two are unlikely partners but balance each other out perfectly. This book was funny and clever and had some great banter! The romance was beautiful and there was on the page spice that was fire! This is my first time reading a book by Mazey Eddings and I will definitely read another.
I received an ARC of this book from Netgalley and voluntarily give my honest review.

Review: Hide With Me
Hide With Me by Cara Dee
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I fell in love with Gael and Santiago during their first interaction and Dean was not far behind. I loved the description of Gael, that he wasn't a ripped guy, but short and chubby and just the sweetest character. I think this story had a lot of complicated issues for the characters to work through, being three men at different stages in life, with different needs, but similar wants. For all the challenges they had stacked up against them this was a very low angst book and definitely had a feeling of an instalove. I think I would have liked to see them work through their challenges a little more without them working out quite so easily. I also was hoping for a few more spicy scenes in this book. The ones we got were fire, but there were a few moments where the scene faded to black and I wanted more of these three together. Gael, Santiago and Dean are added to the list of my favorite Cara Dee Characters....which, to be fair is basically everyone. I love heading back to McClean and can't wait for the next game.

Review: Wildcard
Wildcard by Cambria Hebert
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Wildcard lived up to its name! This story was fast paced, intense and one wild ride. Jason is the broody misunderstood untrusting bad boy who has recently joined Elite and feels and he falls so hard for Landry. Landry is Coach's daughter, and the new assistant coach and off limits to all Elite. She and Jason feel like fated mates, they were destined for each other The spice in this story is super hot! Jason is possessive and Landry is protective and they fit like perfect puzzle pieces.
One of my favorite parts of this story was Jason's relationship with Lars! Cambria Hebert writes great found families and Jason and Lars have a bond that could rival Ryan and Jamie. The whole Elite gang is back and the group chat brings in lots of entertainment. Kruger and Prism are worming their way into my heart and I really hope Prism gets his own book, I'm becoming increasingly fascinated by him.
I loved being back at Westbrook, this series keeps getting better and better!

Review: The Setup
The Setup by Kristen Proby
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Keaton and Sidney are amazing together and on the page. I love Sidney's independence, determination and drive, she knows what she wants and goes after it. There is no shame or embarrassment, she owns her desires and draws out the best in Keaton. Keaton is completely swoon worthy. He has learned the best way to treat a woman from his dad Luke Williams, but has some major hang ups around fame. With Sidney being a famous country singer, this is a hurdle Keaton will need to tackle if he wants more than a friends with benefits arrangement with Sidney.
This book made me insanely happy to read! There is something about the Montgomery/Williams clan that just makes me feel good. From the first page I loved being back in Seattle and enjoyed every moment of this story.

Review: This Will Hurt II
This Will Hurt II by Cara Dee
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
The title of this book does not lie. This book hurt, but Cara Dee glue my heart back together through the pages and I finally got my HEA. I love Jake and Roe so much, and this story is fully told through Roe's perspective. It's hard to see how their relationship changes since book 1. I still don't like Roe's wife Sandra, and I know we're not really supposed to. I think she goes through her own challenges, but I feel like after she started working to address her mental health struggles she continued making choices that made her someone I disliked.
This book does contain cheating, which is sometimes difficult for me as a reader, but Jake and Roe are basically fated and perfect for each other. Add in my feelings toward Sandra and this is one book in which I don't mind the cheating.
I love the found family in this story, and all the cross overs, it was like hunting easter eggs with all the characters who showed up in this book.
The biggest challenge I had when reading was the time jumps within chapters or from chapter to chapter, there are clues in the text as to how much time has passed, but it would have been helpful to have months and years listed to measure time.
This is another amazing addition to Cara Dee's universe and these two will live in my heart forever. I can't wait to see where they pop up next!

Review: This Will Hurt I
This Will Hurt I by Cara Dee
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Cara Dee strikes again with characters that burrow into your soul and will never leave. Roe and Jake are two classmates who become best friends and business partners. In part I we really get to know them as their relationship develops and grows. This is a definite slow burn with building tension and yearning. There was a lot of emotion in this book, and while I didn't cry (not usually my thing) I did feel all the emotions and know that with another reader this book could bring you to tears. This book ends on a cliffhanger and I can't wait for part II.

Review: We Are Destiny
We Are Destiny by Alisha Williams
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
The broken ones always snag my heart and Spencer was no different. This poor omega is so lost at the beginning of this story I fell for him. Things for Spencer got worse before they got better an his journey pulled on my emotions. I love the scent matches in Alisha William's omegaverse universe, they add a fated mate trope that turns things on their head. This book is immensely spicy and I loved every page. My only critique is that I want more of Spencer and his pack. With so many pack members there feels like endless opportunity for dates and heats and other shenanigans. There were a few nest configurations I had been hoping for that didn't occur on the page, maybe some bonus content for a future book? I want more of them and I know other readers will too!

Review: Cauldrons Call
Cauldrons Call by Kristen Proby
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I love Breena and Giles! These two have always been meant for each other and watching them come together is as natural as breathing. The way they fit together makes my reader heart happy. There relationship is not all smooth sailing because something is hunting them and Breena, Giles and their coven are all at risk.
I loved the side characters in this story, Both Breena's Mother and Giles' Parents are wonderful additions! I also loved Merlin and Near and their friendship.
This story was a wonderful blend of romance and paranormal mystery and suspense. This book is everything I hoped for and this cover is absolutely killer!

Review: Prowl
Prowl by Cara Dee
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Prowl took me on an emotional journey! This book was so angsty and character driven. Ty, Walker, Macklin and Lane all go through their own growth and personal development in this book. I loved every moment with these men, I felt a range of emotions as they navigated their individual situations to create the relationships they dreamed of. Walker was the most surprising to me in this book. I loved getting to know him more. Macklin was truly vulnerable and I loved seeing more of that side of him. Ty changed the least throughout this book, but did some self exploration on his journey. Lane had a lot to work through in this book, and I loved getting to see in his brain as he decided what he wanted in his life.
The cross overs in this book were everything!! I loved getting to see Darius and Gray, Rio and Chelsea, Nick and Kayla and Cade, Dylan and Gabriella. I hope they visit more often! I also finally realized that Walker's boss Ed and his partner Peyton are from "Just Sign Here", Cara is masterful!
This series gets better and Better and Prowl was a fantastic look a complex polyamorous relationships.
