Review: Ms. Baker

Ms. Baker Ms. Baker by Lea Coll
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Ms. Baker by Lea Coll gave me all the warm fuzzies I get when watching a Hallmark Christmas Movie. Now, this book was not set the winter season, it takes place early fall, with events leading up to halloween. The feeling came from the close group of friends who live in a small town where it seems everyone knows each other. The focus on community and camaraderie of a town banding together when something goes wrong. The hero and heroine are sweet and you can tell from the beginning of the book that they are unrequited. I was very excited when they finally got together and there were a few steamy moments, but for the most part i was more interested in solving the crime than their romance. Once they got together, I had a feeling it would stick, and for the most part it did. If you are looking for a light romance, an easy and sweet read, you will enjoy this book.

Review: Kissing Her

Kissing Her Kissing Her by Alexa Riley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received an arc of this book and voluntarily provide this review.

I should know better than to start an Alexa Riley book at 10pm, but I am clearly a glutton for punishment. I read way past my bedtime with this one, but i just couldn't put it down! I loved the character of Bee, she was so relatable as the little sister who gets picked on, the urge to rebel but the fear of disappointing family. When she first meets Ragnar and is chowing down on churros I knew she understood the important things in life. Ragnar had a dangerous streak, but it didn't really interfere with the plot, just enough that he had an edge. He nicknamed her little bee, which threw me off because years ago i read a book i disliked name Little Bee but the toothache i had at the end of this book from the pure sweet possession between these two made up for it.

Review: She's All Mine

She's All Mine She's All Mine by Ella Goode
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received an ARC of this book an am voluntarily giving my review.

I started reading this book, excited about the cover (yes I hate to say it but i totally judge books by their covers) and because i have enjoyed Ella Goode's books previously. In the first chapter i read the name Audley and it strikes me as familiar, suddenly it hits me! This is the next book in the series Three of Us Three of Us (Three of Us, #1) by Ella Goode. I have been dying for Tank and Erika's story and She's All Mine did not disappoint.

A Large possessive boxer (Tank) and a tiny dancer (Erika) both infatuated with the other. I read this book in one sitting because I couldn't put it down. It was the perfect story for these two! I really enjoyed that they didn't play games with each other. They knew what they were feeling was raw and true and a little rare. Instead of hiding it, pushing her away or trying to avoid the truth, he was honest with her and that vulnerability was sweet and sexy. You will love this book if you enjoy other books byElla Goode

Review: Look But Don't Touch

Look But Don't Touch Look But Don't Touch by Cara Dee
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I listened to this book on the Read Me Romance Podcast and let me start by saying the ladies of Alexa Riley had hyped this book pretty high. They have talked about it being the reason they write and gushed over how much they love it. It was my first experience reading Cara Dee and what an experience it was. The male narrator Tor Thomhas a seductive voice, the kink is unapologetic and while it isn't the first DD/lg book I have read, it's definitely one of the hottest. I have already decided that i am a huge fan of Cara Dee and will be going through her catalog and reading everything i can get my hands on.

Review: Heart of the Devil

Heart of the Devil Heart of the Devil by Meghan March
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was a beautiful conclusion to the Forge Trilogy. Meghan March creates such vivid characters and I was so emotionally entangled with this story. I had tears streaming down my face with a big goofy smile through most of the book. Indy and Jericho forever! I think they need a ship name InJer? Inicho? Jeria? Forge is everything!

Review: Thick

Thick Thick by Alexa Riley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Oh! My! Goodness! The cover of this book alone turns me into a puddle. This is Alexa Riley at their finest! A Bull of a man (see what i did there) and a sweet an innocent heroine who fall into insta-love and can't keep their hands off of each other. I devoured this book and wished for more epilogues!

Review: Shaft

Shaft Shaft by Krista Gold
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book was sweet and sassy, funny and sexy and left me wanting more. I was disappointed when we got to the end because I feel like we just got started with Allie and Nate and they still have more to tell us.
